Between Russia and Uzbekistan earned a "simplified customs corridor"

10.08.2017In the framework of the agreement between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan concluded between the two countries earned the so-called "simplified customs corridor". It will allow faster more efficient and easier to implement movement of goods and vehicles through the Russian-Uzbek border.
For the organization of the simplified customs corridor customs officers of Russia and Uzbekistan has created a system of information exchange preliminary data on goods and vehicles transported between States. In the information technology divisions of the FCS of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan GKT for short period of time was carried out a complex of measures aimed at improvement and setup of the regular software and the creation of a sustainable information exchange. Now the data exchange system is successfully tested and ready to work full time.
With the opening of the simplified customs corridor participants of foreign economic activity of Russia and Uzbekistan will be able in a simplified procedure to pass the customs procedures for the movement of goods and transport between the two countries. However, across the corridor can be not all products and only under certain conditions. At the start of the project under a simplified customs regime includes only agricultural products. But in the future the list of products which can be in an accelerated mode to arrange for the importation to Uzbekistan from Russia and Vice versa, it is planned to expand.
To use a simplified customs corridor between Russia and Uzbekistan will be able persons and enterprises whose activities on the import and export of goods has a low risk of violation of customs legislation in the country of their registration. Refine the project plan by expanding the number of its participants and increase product categories that fall under a simplified customs regime.
