Abroad will be a center of intellectual property protection of the Russian Federation

24.03.2017Russian export centre, Rospatent and "Innopractice" started joint work on creation of centres of intellectual property protection in foreign countries, according to "Izvestia". Companies will promote Russian high-tech products and domestic developments on foreign markets.
The detailed concept and action plan for the establishment of such centres should develop by December. According to the head of the project on intellectual property of the Russian export centre Oleg Dyachenko will examine the advantages and disadvantages of various options, including the institution of attaché for intellectual property in the Russian Embassy or representative offices of Russian export centre – IP agent.
Among other concepts – the creation of a Sovereign patent Fund, which worked together with "Inpractical", and the opening of independent structures. Sovereign patent Fund is a tool for managing a pool of intellectual property on behalf of their owners to organize collective defense. In addition, recall that this year will begin production of marking materials to protect Russian products from counterfeiting.
