Ugra delegation arrived in Hungary

On 4 February 2019 within the framework of working visit to Hungary was held a meeting between representatives of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Ugra, headed by Ugra Governor Natalia Komarova and Acting Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Hungary Pavel Ilyin.

The leaders of the Hungarian companies Somex Sft (Szomex Kft) Ferenc Hegedyush Marketconsult Kft Gustav Darabant also attended the meeting. During a meeting was discussed economic cooperation with Ugra timber industry enterprises since 2017 with the support of the Foundation “Support Centre for Ugra Export”

During the meeting, Alexey Metelev, General Director of the Timber Industrial Plant Holz (village Agirish, Sovetskiy District, Ugra) signed export contracts with the heads of companies Somex (Szomex Kft.) and Marketconsult (Marketconsult Kft.) on supply of sawn timber to Hungary from Ugra.

At the end of the meeting, Ugra representatives and Hungary businessmen thanked Natalia Komarova, Governor of the Autonomous Okrug, and Irina Gaichentseva, General Director of Foundation “Support Centre for Ugra Export” for effective implementation of state support in the field of export activities.

The establishment of business relations of the Foundation “Support Centre for Ugra Export” with representatives of Hungary was started in 2015 with the signing of an Agreement on the principles of interaction between the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Hungary and the Foundation “Support Centre for Ugra Export”. To date, the Foundation “Ugra Export Support Center” has organized 2 business missions of Ugra businessmen to Hungary, 3 entry business missions of Hungarian businessmen to Ugra, as well as a working visit. In total, Ugra entrepreneurs concluded 9 export contracts.
