Visit of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in the Tyumen Region to Yugra.

15 November, 2018 Igor Samkaev, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in the Tyumen Region visited the capital of Ugra in order to establish and develop business relations between South Korea and the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra.

As part of the business program was held a meeting with members of the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, as well as with representatives of the Foundation  “Support Centre for Ugra Export”, Ugra Development Foundation, Entrepreneurship Support Foundation of Ugra

The parties discussed directions and prospects for the development of cooperation between Ugra and the Republic of Korea, including in the sphere of bilateral relations of business communities, as well as measures to increase the efficiency of cooperation in the trade and economic sphere.

Let us remind that representatives of small and medium business of Ugra already have experience in relations with business representatives of the Republic of Korea: in August 2017, Ugra producers visited Seoul and participated in the largest international exhibition The 16th Seoul Int'l Organic & Natural Trade Fair for Korea 2017. The event was organized by the Foundation “Support Centre for Ugra Export”. As a result, 2 export contracts were signed: supply of products from wild crops and a contract for the import of Korean technologies for cold-pressed pine nut oil.
