Putin called key directions for the export of Russian products14.03.2018
Speaking at the plenary session of the All-Russian Forum of Agricultural Producers, Russian President Vladimir Putin called key directions for the export of Russian products.
The key directions for the development of infrastructure and logistics centers for the export of Russian products are the Far East, the Azov-Black Sea basin and the northwestern direction.
"In the message, I said that in four years we have the plan to export more food to the world markets than to import into the country, so Russia will become an exporter of foodstuffs. Herewith export of meat products should grow.... We need for this modern infrastructure and logistics - flashing bottlenecks in the railway transport, increasing the capacity of seaports, storage terminals, and elevators. The key directions are the Far East with its possibility to cooperate with the dynamically developing market of the Asia-Pacific Region; we will also develop logistics nodes in the north-west, the Azov-Black Sea basin, where we have infrastructure constraints" - Putin said.
According to him, it is necessary to improve the effectiveness of tools to support exporters.
