20.12.2017 The Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation began work on a plan to promote the national cuisine of the peoples of Russia in foreign countries. This was reported by the Interfax agency, referring to Yevgeniy Kudel, who is the head of the Department of state tourism projects and tourism safety of the Federal Agency for Tourism.
The Federal Agency for Tourism will implement the project "Gastronomic Map of Russia" in conjunction with the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers. Expert's support will be provided by the National Association of Culinary Specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture for specialists working on the plan of measures for the development of gastro tourism in Russia
Gastronomic tourism is one of the powerful tools for the development of the tourism industry in Russia and a promising direction for the realization of the state's export potential.
