Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced the approval of the REC Development Strategy until 2019, which provides for a significant expansion of the authority of this center. According to the head of the government, Russian exporters are not receiving enough support yet, the center will have to help them at all stages - from seeking partners to after-sales service. The main provisions of the strategy concern the expansion of the powers of the REC to allocate government subsidies to support exports. In particular, it is a question of compensating commercial banks for lost revenue on loans issued in support of suppliers, as well as companies' expenses for certification and logistics of their products, for registration on foreign markets of intellectual property objects, for expertise in obtaining licenses for export operations . The REC does not plan to limit itself to the list and promise to consider new types of subsidies. Another block of the approved document concerns the REC offices in the Russian regions and abroad. In total it is planned to create 40 representative offices by the end of 2019. Of these, there are 16 own REC offices in the regions. There will be 12 own branches and 53 partner offices abroad. The Russian export center, within the framework of interaction with the regions, has developed for this purpose a standard of activity of the executive authorities of the subject of the Russian Federation to ensure favorable conditions for the development of export activities. As part of the government agent's function, the REC plans to support subsidies of 10,400 companies (of which 3,2 thousand in 2017) and their exports by $ 37.7 billion (including $ 8.3 billion in 2017 Billion). The total amount of exports supported by the REC by 2019 should reach $ 84.7 billion ($ 20.3 billion in 2017). According to Peter Fradkov, in 2016 the volume of export supported by the group was $ 8.9 billion, 500 companies received support. The priority project stipulates that Russia's non-primary non-energy exports will grow by no less than 7% per year and by 2025 will double in relation to 2016, the number of exporters should grow by 10% per year.
